HBZS Praha a.s.

HBZS Praha was established as of January 1, 2006 on the basis of a degree of the Czech Mining Office, with the sphere of action in the whole territory of the Czech Republic. The basic mission of HBZS Praha is to secure fast and effective interventions necessary for rescue of human lives and properties in case of extraordinary situations, emergencies, and disposal of their consequences in underground engineering industry and in operated underground premises.

HBZS Praha is incorporated into the Integrated Rescue System as one of its narrowly specialised units.

In addition to the intervention activity itself, the station also carries out preventive and checking activities in the sense of Directive No. 447/2001 Col. concerning the performance of mining service by activities executed in mining way in workplaces that must be secured by the Mining Rescue Service in accordance with the CMO decree.

The professional experience and special rescuing equipment are further utilized for works in risky and heavy-duty conditions, i.e. in unbreathable and aggressive environment.
